Sean Kim is a junior designer based in New York, currently working at Pentagram. He enjoys spotting potential in any idea and bringing it to life through design, especially using new technology to make it even more special. In his free time, he experiments with emerging tech, dreams up random business ideas, and codes small scripts and tools to support his creative work. Also, he runs a small fun showcase website called ToolTool. Outside of design, he loves cooking and have inspiring conversation!

Project: Exhibition Branding / Unreal Engine 5“Nose, Tail” is a branding project that explores the evolution of surfboards from 3000 BC to the present. The project includes the design and architecture of a real-time rendered virual exhibition space, created using Unreal Engine 5. The exhibition highlights the craft’s journey, honoring its pioneers and showcasing iconic designs that have shaped the sport. The distinctive blue of Nose, Tail symbolizes the dynamic energy of active waves and the enduring legacy of surfboarding traditions.
